The Science Museum

Building an arch like the good classically educated boy that he is!

Bat ears!

Bella doing some deep-sea diving in the shark tank!

Touching a shark!

Very cool star fish, hermit crabs, and clams

Amazing sand sculpture at the shark tank

We have a family pass to the Children's Museum in Richmond and during the month of September that pass also got us into the Science Museum next door. We went down yesterday morning and had a great time! They have a really great shark exhibit and Max got to pet some sharks, hear about some cool invertebrates from the sea, and dig for shark teeth in a sand box. There were buttons and levers galore for him to play with and we had fun building an arch. They have a space exhibit and a bat exhibit. Max had just learned about invertebrates, Greek and Roman architecture and semi-permiable membranes at school so it was perfect! Our only regret is that we didn't take advantage of it more times this month!
