Max at Bat

Max had a blast playing baseball with Daddy and Bapa yesterday. They played for almost 2 hours and Max was pretty good at hitting the ball. He also said he loves the "exercise" he gets after hitting the ball(ie running the bases). As an added bonus, when the ball went way into the woods, he and Daddy got to look for deer poop! I think we have future Philly here!!

Soccer at the YMCA

Here's some pics of Max in his soccer class at the Y. He missed 2 while he was sick and it is a little hard because it is right after school,but he really seems to like it and is learning some real soccer skills! I think his coaches are the most patient people in the whole world-there are about fifteen 4-5 year olds in there! (The pics aren't great due to the lighting in the gym-Sorry!)

The Power of Imagination

This picture makes me laugh so hard I cry when I think about it. Max came up to me the other day wearing this outfit and said "Mom, I'm Darth Vader". Now, nothing about this outfit remotely resembles Darth Vader to me but hey, I am a 37 year old girl, not a 4 year old boy!

The Pumpkin Patch

Max had his first field trip today. We went to Belvedere Farm and had our first really beautiful cool fall day. Max's favorite parts were the animals and the hay ride. We got 2 cute little pumpkins and had fun playing in the barn and being with his friends from school. He tried to take his pumpkin to bed with him at nap time but settled for putting it on his desk. He has carried it around all afternoon!
