Beach Photos

The Beach

Bella loved the waves!

Max got to try snorkling in the shallow water.

We got down to the beach one night just in time to see a Turtle Rescue group release baby turtles.

The pool had waterfalls and misty caves!

Oh what a great week we had at Fripp Island.  We played in the sand and the ocean, swam in the pools, colored and blew bubbles and wrestled with all the cousins, and just loved being with family.  The house we stayed in was not the greatest but we really loved the island.  When the tide was out the kids had miles of sand and shallow tide pools to play in.  The deer were as tame as pets and we got to see baby turtles being released in the ocean.  Nobody got enough sleep and we all ate too much and too many things we shouldn't but that is what vacation is for, right?  We are a little bit sad to be home and missing the ocean and the cousins but it just gives us more to look forward to next summer!

Happy Fourth of July

Bella and her BFF Lyla

We had a great Fourth of July!  We spent the morning at the pool and then had a fun dinner with friends followed by fireworks.  Max loved running around with his friends and Bella loved the fireworks.  Hope everyone had a great day!

Froggy Pool

A rare sighting of Max in the shallow end!

We are enjoying the Y pool again this summer.  Max just does his own thing and I don't really see him much when we are there.  He plays in the deep end, goes down the big slides, and seems to meet new friends every time we go.  Bella loves the water and we may have another swimmer in training!  She loves to jump in the water and has no fear(which is scary because she will just walk out into the water until it is over her head!) She loves to go out into the "too deep" with Daddy but she does NOT like the froggy slide.  I am just so happy she wants to be in the water this summer and not walking around trying on other people's shoes!
