Max and I had great time visiting the Richmond Zoo with Max's friend Ethan and his mom Julie. The best part was getting to feed the giraffes-it was so cool to be so close to them and Max thought it was great that the giraffe was licking him-gross but when can you ever get that close to a giraffe! The zoo also has a neat sky ride that goes over the animals. Max loved it but I was terrified because there really wasn't anything holding him in! Other highlights of the day were watching the bears wrestle, grabbing Max just before he climbed into the prairie dog inclosure(it's just a split rail fence! Are you kidding me?!!:), and the donkey who took the whole cup of food from Max's hands(Thankfully it was the cup and not the fingers and Julie saved the day by getting the cup back! Max still talks about that donkey that wasn't kind!)
