The Zoo

We spent the day at the Metro Richmond Zoo!  This is a great little zoo!  Just the right size for the little ones to run around, lots of amazing animals that the kids can see up close, and the best part, feeding and touching real live giraffes!

Monster Birthday

Max celebrated his birthday "monster" style on Sat with a bunch of his friends.  It was a fun party with some really great kids.  After the race on Sunday, he celebrated again with PapPap, Nana, Bapa, NanaSue, Uncle Steve, Aunt Bekah, Eliza, and Owen at the Lube! 

The Great Train Race

Max, Bella, and cousin Eliza ran The Great Train Race on May 1.  Max ran the whole mile in 10:28 which is a personal best for him!  Bella and Eliza did a great job in their  first Caboose race!

We had a beautiful Easter day.  We celebrated Easter with our church family and then headed to Culpeper to be with Jenny's family.

Princess Bella

Last night we had a great evening at a medieval feast for Classical Conversations end of the year party.  Lee was King for the evening and was in his element leading the feast.  It was a really fun night.  The kids enjoyed eating with their hands and NOT using napkins(although this momma had a steady supply of wipes handy!)  I am sorry I didn't get more pictures but I was too busy laughing at Lee!
