Advent Day 20

Max and I went to the Swift Creek Mill Theater yesterday to watch Drifty's Christmas Countdown.  We did this last year too and Max loves the play, the silly snowman, and eating pizza for lunch in the old mill.  All the characters from the play come out during lunch for pictures and autographs.

A Christmas Weekend

We had a really fun Christmas weekend filled with lots of Advent activities and a wonderful visit with PapPap and Nana.  The kids opened new jammies on Friday night for Day 17.  PapPap and Nana arrived on Saturday morning.  We had a wonderful day playing with them and went to see some beautiful Christmas lights on Sat night.  On Sunday the kids were in our church's Christmas pageant.  Max was a cow and Bella was a sheep.  Then we all went to bed early on Sunday night!  :0)

Advent Days 15 and 16 and MORE Snow!

We did some fun coloring and crafting for Days 15 and 16 and we got more snow! We hope everyone is staying safe and warm and enjoying the season too!

Advent Days 11-14 and MORE Snow!

It was so sweet watching them do this together.

We have had a busy few days! Day 10 was Max's Christmas Party with Classical Conversations and his rocket won first place in the rocket contest!  Day 11 was candy canes and Day 12 was a sticker nativity.  Day 13 brought us more snow and we were supposed to do a craft which we didn't get to :0).  Day 14 was a special treat- Izze "soda"(It is actually fruit juice and sparkling water.)  We are a little bit behind in both our Advent readings and our Jesse Tree devotions but continue to enjoy both.  We are decorating and wrapping and baking as well!
