Max's Birthday Adventures

We took Max to the Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg for his birthday. He had a blast at the indoor water park!

Max and I went to see "The Little Red Hen" at the Swift Creek Mill Theater in Richmond.

We celebrated Max's birthday after the race with a Darth Vadar cake!

The Great Train Race-Max ran a mile and finished strong even though it was very hot and he fell twice at the beginning.

Max had an amazing birthday week! Plays, cakes, races, the MOST amazing water park, his favorite people(well, most of them) and lots of great presents! This is birthday he will never forget!

15 months

Bella had her 15 month check up today and I thought it would be fun to do another comparison. She is doing great and is a delight. She loves to be read to and to look at books. She likes blocks and balls and climbing on things! Oh and she loves Barney. She is starting to talk-Max, Mommy, Daddy, Jesus, ball, book, cup, doggy, Hi and Bye are a few of her words. She is probably working on giving up that morning nap and she has lots of new teeth. This is such a fun age and we feel so blessed to have our sweet girl!

Ashland 10K

Lee and his friends Nathan and Todd ran in another 10K on Saturday.  The race is through the residential streets of a cute little town called Ashland and the kids and I went down to cheer on our runner!  Lee ran the whole thing and finished in just over an hour(10 seconds over which is nothing!)

We love CMOR-Children's Museum of Richmond.  Max asks at least once a week if we go and this week the answer was yes!  We went down on Saturday for some play time and to hear and meet Mr Steve, a musician who plays on PBS Kids.  Bella loves listening to Steve Songs.  She will come running into the room when she hears him singing.   The performance was great, Max loved it because it was very interactive, and Bella had a blast playing in the new tot barn section.
