Dare Devil Max

In honor of Evil Knievel, here's a few pics of Max's dare devil debut-riding his big wheel down NanaSue and Bapa's big hill. The pics are blurry because he was going so fast! An Update: Sadly, Max's big wheel didn't make it through this adventure-the fork is seperating from the wheels. I guess they weren't made for such speeds!

SNOWDAY!!

We had a little surprise snow day last week. We expected some flurries and Max and I had planned to go out to Louisa County to play with the Wright girls. By the time we got there it was snowing very hard. Max and the girls had a great time playing in the snow although nobody was really dressed for it! We hope to see lots more of the white stuff-Maybe some for Christmas for Addie and Emory?!

Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with Adlers, Rihels, Saunders, and Zierdens. Lee fried our turkey(note to Lee-Maybe not in shorts next time!! Ouch!) Max had such a great time playing with his cousins Adam and Jillian and it meant a great deal to Lee and I to have both our families around our table.

Carter's Mountain Apple Orchard

We spent a Sunday afternoon in October with NanaSue, Bapa, Aunt Bekah and Uncle Steve in Charlottesville at the apple "patch" as Max calls it. We had nice warm weather but there weren't really any apples to pick. We did get to eat the amazing hot apple donuts they make there though!!

Welcome Emory Ann!

In early October we made a weekend trip(Yes we are crazy!) to Tallahassee to meet our new niece, Emory Ann Zierden! Max was so excited to meet his new cousin, 'Emory Am'. Despite the trip being too short, we had a great time and Emory is so sweet! Max and Addie had a great time playing and Lee helped Ben get started on his deck.

Snead's Pumpkin Patch

We picked the hottest day of fall to go to the pumpkin patch. Despite very high temps we had a great time in the hay loft, feeding the chickens, and picking a few pumpkins.

Children's Museum

One of Max's new favorite places is the Richmond Children's Museum. There's lots to do there inside and out with dinosaurs, water(His Favorite!), climbing, and some really cool scooters!
